It took two hours to hike to our capmsite at 4 1/2 mile bridge. The next morning we continued our hike another hour to Tunnel Falls, which was at the 6.1 mile mark. In all we hiked over 12 miles in about 6 hours.
There isn't any place to fish along Eagle Creek. The 12.2 miles we hiked to Tunnel Falls and back were full of rapid water and a dozen or so waterfalls. We did see a couple of kayakers hike up the trail carrying their kayaks, but that looked a little to dangerous for me to try.
