2010 Nike Pre-Nationals Inventationals

Preston ran Varsity at the 2010 Nike Pre-Nationals Inventational. Preston beat his time from a year ago by over a minute. His team ended up taking 4th place, which is Union High Schools first Cross Country trophy ever in their 4 year history. Preston was competing against teams from Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Texas, South Carolina & Canada.

Camping at the Coast

Nehalem Bay State Park

We ended our summer break, camping on the Oregon Coast at Nehalem Bay State Park. We enjoyed beautiful sunny days, hiking and playing on the beach.

Palouse Falls

On the way home from picking Matt up from school in Moscow Idaho, we discovered this hidden waterfall in the middle of the desert in Eastern Washington. If you have ever driven highway 26 toward Pullman & Moscow you know that it is very dry and not much to see. Palouse Falls is towards the end of the Palouse River that dumps into the Snake River.

4th of July weekend Round Lake

On Monday after the 4th we went to Round Lake to get family pictures taken, while were there we went for a little hike. We'll post some of our family pictures after we get them back.

Fireworks and a Proposal

Matt proposed to Emilie during the fireworks on the 4th of July. He took Emilie for a walk while both our and Emilie's family hid in a park, when they arrived at the park we let off the fireworks, everyone started coming out of hidding so Matt quickly popped the question. She said, "YES".

4th of July weekend Hoyt Arboretum & Pittock Mansion

Jeff & Ally, Kristie & Devin, Matt & Emilie all came and visited us for the 4th of July weekend.

How Firm Foundation LDS Dance Festival 2010

Stephen participated in the LDS Northwest Multi-Stake Dance festival 2010. There were over 2000 youth. It was an unforgetable performance.
