On the way home from picking Matt up from school in Moscow Idaho, we discovered this hidden waterfall in the middle of the desert in Eastern Washington. If you have ever driven highway 26 toward Pullman & Moscow you know that it is very dry and not much to see. Palouse Falls is towards the end of the Palouse River that dumps into the Snake River.

Ahh, Palouse Falls. I camped there a few times when I was a scout. That's not too far from where I grew up in Kennewick. Can you still hike around to the top of the falls and look down? I can't believe my dad let us do that. We killed a rattlesnake there too. Good memories :-)
