The Rexburg Temple

The Rexburg Temple is completed and the Open House is currently going on. I have the opportunity to volunteer as a temple usher, I have also gone through the tour. It's a gorgeous temple, it's really neat becaues I feel really connected with it's heritage; even though I haven't lived here for very long. Wilford Woodruff once prophesied that this land would be a great land of learning and that there would be a house of the Lord here, now this is true. The temple has a theme of wheat, very fitting for the area. It is engraved in all the windows, a lot of the wood and even in the carpet. The flower arrangements also have wheat in them (there are flower arrangments everywhere in the temple). It is really cool.

The first few pictures are ones that i have taken along the process of completion

The next pictures are just some really cool ones that I have found.

It is really exciting to have the temple so close. There is a side walk directly from my Dorm, up the Temple!
