Today Kent went with Stephen & Preston and their Scout troop on a 10 mile hike to Hamilton Mountain. The summit elevation of 2480 feet may not sound that high, but when you start your hike near sea level it made for a very steep hike. It was a beautiful hike filled with great views and giant cliffs. Preston isn't in any pictures because he hikes like a mountain goat and left his dad eating his dust or on a day like this I should say mud. We made it to the snow capped summit just in time for lunch.

Hardy Falls

Stephen and Kent took time to enjoy Hardy & Rodney Falls on the way back down. The hike took us through rain, snow, & mud. Della spent the day cleaning the house only for us to come home caked in mud.
